On May 25 and 26, 2023, CERN hosted a hybrid event between CERN and the construction and engineering industry, co-organized by the National Center for Nuclear Research.
The conference was about upcoming projects in 2023-2025 and how to conduct civil engineering projects at CERN.
The aim of the meeting was to attract new contractors and to facilitate contacts between general contractors and potential suppliers/subcontractors in Member States with a poorly and very poorly balanced balance.
At the invitation of CERN, the Business Civil Forum Engineering was also attended by Polish companies from the construction industry, such as:
- Mostostal Krakow S.A
- Zarmen Sp z o.o. - Zarman Group
- Tech-bud Sp z o.o.
- Pekabex BET S.A
Participants visited CERN points (Atlas Visit Centre, Antimatter Factory, Isolde Experiment Center) and took part in a conference devoted to planned construction investments. They were also organised B2B meeting between entrepreneurs from European countries and with representatives of the procurement department at CERN
